Meet Katie Nielsen

As GSM’s Chief of Staff, Katie provides administrative and strategic support for the team, and serves as liaison for sponsors, the GSM Membership Council, and third-party partners. She enjoys working closely with others to manage projects, streamline internal operations and plan events, including the annual Government Social Media Conference.

When she’s off the clock, you’ll find Katie spending time with her family in the suburbs of Salt Lake City. She loves exploring the great outdoors, cheering on her two kids at their games and extracurricular activities, and discovering the best local eateries with her husband.
