If you haven’t met Brian Whittaker yet, he’s a distinguished technology executive within the Federal government and the visionary founder of Humans of Public Service (HOPS), an award-winning platform that has shared the stories of more than 160 public servants humanizing public service to inspire trust and build the government we deserve. 

Starting his career in the private sector, Brian transitioned to public service and has held leadership positions in the General Services Administration, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. In the Federal government, he has led organizations prioritizing the use of technology to improve public services. His projects include initiatives such as streamlining the farm loan application process and revamping online submission and processing of civil rights claims.
